I Am Rubbie Groves-Clay

As the Broker of Clay Realty Group and author of Get A Hold Of Your Darn Finances, I’ve spent over 33 years helping people buy homes and manage property, while seeing firsthand how money struggles can quietly affect families. Many adults weren’t taught how to handle finances growing up, and I’m on a mission to make sure our youth don’t face the same challenges.

That’s why I created “Get A Hold Of Your Darn Finances”, a program that teaches teens and young adults the essential skills they need to thrive financially—money management, credit, budgeting, investing, estate planning, and more—all in a fun, hands-on way. And now, we’re turning up the energy by infusing hip hop with financial literacy, making learning about money exciting, relatable, and unforgettable.

Through Hip Hop & Finances, kids learn to set goals, create vision boards, and make smart financial moves—all while moving to the beat, expressing themselves, and building confidence. This isn’t just about money—it’s about hope, empowerment, and helping our next generation own their financial journey.
